Aaron Strong was a research assistant in the Climate Economics Group, while he was a graduate student at the Fletcher School, concentrating in international environmental policy and political geography. Prior to coming to Fletcher, he was as an environmental policy research associate at MIT and also worked for two years as a research scientist in marine biogeochemistry and microbial ecology labs. He has published several articles in journals such as Oceanography, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, and Nature.
Aaron holds a B.A. in biology and political science from Swarthmore College, and, after receiving his MA from the Fletcher School, plans to continue his studies of the nexus of ecological science and policy as a Ph.D. student.
