Josie is a research assistant to Senior Scientist Eric Kemp-Benedict, brought on board to work on analyzing the role of social trust and cohesion in the process of implementing the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. In the process, she co-developed a method of analyzing moral components of policymaking and corporate actions, based on the work of Aaron James. She am now applying that method to analyze the American corn subsidy system, focusing on justifications made by its supporting actors.
She attends Tufts University and is majoring in both political science and environmental studies of sustainability, policy and equity, with a minor in economics.
